Waiting for Superman

"She’s talking to angels, counting the stars
Making a wish on a passing car
She’s dancing with strangers, falling apart
Waiting for Superman to pick her up
In his arms, In his arms
Waiting for Superman

She’s out on the corner trying to catch a glimpse
Nothing’s making sense
She’s been chasing an answer
A sign lost in the abyss, this Metropolis"

When you feel alone, your not. Just hold on my darling, Superman is coming.

cyber

In my opinion how is cyberbulliyng a thing? Really you are going to mock someone from the safety of a screen?
Weak that's what you are.
No you shouldn't make someone feel like that at anytime but to be so cowardly about it. How about if you don't like a person block them! Don't make them feel like that just because your so big and bad on facebook. Just hit block, ignore them or better yet don't go online at all! If your not man enough to say it to their face then just shut up and play your farmville.

back to the past

The past. Your past. My past. It defindes who we are and made us in to the people we are today. You can judge you own past. But to judge someone else for theirs? Something stupid or wrong that they did. Its like judging a baby for crying. You have no right to judge someone for the wrong they can not right. The past is the past. a mistake is a mistake and thats it. You wouldn't wish to be critisizezd for your past so dont to other people.

Just thinkin about tomorrow

The sun will come out...tomorrow. Bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow! There ll be sun!"

What wise words from a curly little red head. If you don't know what this is its a song from Annie which is a movie and a play i think. Any how this line can be used for what i talk about. Is you have a bad day just look on the bright side tomorrow will be better. The sun will come out and everything will be okay.

Go Ask Hannah

Hannah Smith, 14, from Lutterworth, Leicestershire, England, hung herself in her bedroom on August 3rd, 2013. Her body...discovered by her older sister.

In the weeks leading up to her death, Hannah had been subjected to cruel taunts and insults about her weight and a family death on Ask.fm, a question-and-answer social networking site that allows anonymous participation. Bullies on Ask.fm urged her to drink bleach and cut herself.

According to Hannah’s father, she went to Ask.fm only to find advice on the skin condition, eczema.

After, Hannah’s father found a note that read:
“As I sit here day by day I wonder if it’s going to get better. I want to die, I want to be free. I can’t live like this any more. I’m not happy”.

Following the suicide, Hannah’s older sister, Jo, described how, just days after discovering her younger sister’s body, she started receiving abusive messages on Facebook mocking her loss and blaming her grieving father’s parenting skills for the tragic death.

the fault in our stars

"You lost, apart of your existance in the war...against yourself. All the lights they light up in lights of sadness telling you...its time to go."

These are lyrics from a song called the fault in our stars after the book by John Green. The book and song are about two kids with cancer that fall in love. But I love this line because it can be for both cancer and suicide.

Sometimes people are their own bully. They make themselves think they are less when really they are not. Thus the line "You lost, apart of your existance in the war...against yourself" because they are in a war with them selves.

I know a few people like this and at one time it was me but im okay now.

what you dont see

Some times i find my self looking at someone and wondering just how much i know about them. Who they really are, what makes them happy and sad, are they okay? And thinking about that makes me wonder what all can a smile hide?
              The answer...a lot.

A person who you think is perfectly happy could be hurting. You never know. They could be putting on a fake smile, you don't know.

There is no one like me

I have talked about Jake miller before and this song called Steven. On November 5th i went to his concert and it was amazing!!! I had so much fun with one of my best friends. A couple of times Jake mentioned how amazing we all were and shouldn't change for anyone or anything. I think that is very true you are PERFECT the way you are!. I had the honor of meeting Jake and the members of the two other bands that played but anyway i told Jake about my blog and he said this... "I think its amazing that you are writing about that! I have tons of songs kind of about that issue but one of my favorites it like me" Like me is an AMAZING song its about a boy (or anyone) that was happy with who he was and know there way no one like him.

So if you are ever feeling down about yourself and want to change don't! Look up, Like Me by Jake Miller its fun and up beat with an amazing message behind it.

Forever marked

You may or may not know this but, literally all my life i've been a victom to bullying.

I'm not telling you for attention or simpathy because i do not want either of those. Yes, ill admit it. I'm my not as pretty or as "prefect" as i should be but really i dont care.

Anyways the point of this is tattoos. I beleive that tatoos should have meaning and not be something stupid that your friend drew at a party. I have decided to make a time in my life were i felt alone and sad. Before i am 17 (cleared with my mom) i am going to get an infinity sign with an anchor.

you might ask why i would want to remember something like that for forever but it was a very important time in my life that helped to make me who i am today. Also everytime i look at it i will remember how bad things were and that i literally can make it through anything.

Fix You

These are lyrics by coldplay. If you need someone to fix you...Read or listen to it.

"When you try your best but you don't succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse

And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
Just what you're worth

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

Tears stream down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face
And I

Tears stream down your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face
And I

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

seen but not spoken

There are many times where the signs of an injured human are ignored. People see and hear. They see the self inflicted wounds or hear the crushing words. But do the words they need to say most cross there lips. No.

By not saying anything you are becoming an accomplice in murder. You are letting someone get away with hurting another.

If you have ever seen some one being bullied but has not said anything, i have no respect for you.

What you know

Have you ever looked at someone, and instantly had an opinion?

"He's fat so he must eat everything.
She's pregnent so she's a whore.
He's ugly so no one will ever love him."

But you have never talked to them. Taken the chance to really know them.

He has an eating disorder.
She was raped and is caring enough not to kill the baby.
Just because he's ugly to you does not mean he is to someone else.

You dont know. And until you take the time to open your eyes and see the world and people in a different light. You will not know and be stuck with your same loud rude oppinion.
Last year this happened to me. These guys in my class thought that just because i dont look or act the way ther wish for me to, that it was okay to pick on me. At the time I didn't really do anything about it but now I see i should have said something because they did not know me. and now they never will.

Easter Grace

Grace McComas took her life on Easter Sunday, to end the pain of a cyberbullying campaign against her. She attended Glenelg High School was a sophomore and only 15 years old. Details of what she was bullied for could not be localed. But according to her father, Chris McComas the cyberbullying had lasted for months and was carefully documented by the family. As blue was her favorite color, a social media event — blue4grace — was begun by friends and quickly went viral. The mourners at her funeral wore blue nail polish, blue-striped ties, blue jewelry, and blue dress shirts.

Believe

Almost everyone is familer with the ever wonderful demi lavato. While she may have seemed like a sonob on xfactor she is an amazing person that knows what its like to not believe in yourself.

She has a song called Believe in me where she talks about learning to love yourself even when others do not. For most of her life Demi has been a victom. But She made it through and has written some amazing songs from it.

I'm losing myself
Trying to compete
With everyone else
Instead of just being meDon't know where to turn
I've been stuck in this routine
I need to change my ways
always beingInstead of  weak

I don't wanna be afraid
I wanna wake up feeling beautiful..today
And know that I'm okay
Cause everyone's perfect in unusual ways
So you see, I just wanna believe in me
La la la la la la la la

The mirror can lie
Doesn't show you what's inside
And it, it can tell you you're full of life
It's amazing what you can hide
Just by putting on a smile

I don't wanna be afraid
I wanna wake up feeling beautiful..today
And know that I'm okay
Cause everyone's perfect in unusual ways
So you see, I just wanna believe in me
I'm quickly finding out
I'm not about to break down
Not today
I guess I always knew
That I had all the strength to make it through

Not gonna be afraid
I'm going to wake up feeling beautiful..today
And know that I'm okay
Cause everyone's perfect in unusual ways
So you see, now, now I believe in me
Now I believe in me

Sending a smile

Can you read minds? probably not but if you can thats cool. What im leading you to is that you may not always know when someone is upset or hurting. Some people show it but there are many that have become really good at hiding it.

Dont go around being mean and rude all the time and you don't know if someone has something really bad going on and then your word becomes the last thing they hear. Always be kind, Ask others if they are okay and send a smile to someone if not eveyone. :)

lost all Hope

Hope Witsell a 13-year-old that grew up in Sundance, Florida. Her only crime, forwarding a nude photo of herself to a boy she liked. Another girl borrowed the boy’s phone, found the image and forwarded it to other students. And so, the image found its way to a lot of other students in her school and in other schools. The result – taunting and bullying from her peers at Beth Shields Middle School, with insults such as "whore" and "slut".

Hope wrote in her journal. "Tons of people talk about me behind my back and I hate it because they call me a whore! And I can't be a whore I'm too inexperienced. So secretly TONS of people hate me … " School authorities found out about the nude photo around the end of the school year and suspended Hope for the first week of eighth grade. When she returned to school, a counselor observed cuts on Hope's legs and had her sign a "no-harm" contract, in which Hope agreed to tell an adult if she felt inclined to hurt herself. The next day, Hope hanged herself in her bedroom.

On Sept. 12, 2009 Hope wrote in her journal: “I'm done for sure now. I can feel it in my stomach. I'm going to try and strangle myself. I hope it works.”

So sad. Such an Innocent, stupid little thing. And all for nothing. Some may say it was her punishment for senting the picture in the first place and in an aspect it was but did everyone really have to be so mean about it? No...

Not a paper cut

To cut yourself. To take a blade and slide it across your skin. To most people that's emo or Gothic but really its not. People cut themselves as a way to get the pain that others are causing them out. It is also a way they punish themselves for not being good enough. Most think people only cut themselves on there wrists but that's not true. Just because someone looks okay on the outside doesn't mean they are okay. On the outside they may seem happy but on the inside they hate themselves and only think about the next time they can hurt themselves.

If you have a twitter or any Internet access really you might know that a while back girls were hurting themselves over Justin bieber. I think 5that it the stupidest thing ever. There are people who are not looking for attention but how they feel gets made into a joke because of people like those girls.

Sincerely yours, Steven

A song. A song written by a Mr. Jake Miller that he calls Steven. Is today's topic. The song tells a bout a boy that is picked on by the kids at school, abused by his step dad and neglected by his mother. The song is in fact about a real boy named Steven and Jake miller the singer was sent his story. I've looked and can not find the full story with all the details but i will keep looking. At the end of the song Steven writes letters to his friends and family telling them that it is their fault for making him feel that way. It is their fault for pushing him to hate himself, do drugs and in the end kill himself.

I was listening to this song this very morning and in my head i was able to see it all happening. It's a really good song and i think you should check it out. The song is very clear and up beat even though it is about a sad event. Steven's story happens a lot, to many young people. We get hurt and make bad decisions. Then one day we end it like Steven did because we feel there is no other option.

Bye Amanda

We have all heard of Amanda Todd. She died last year due to bullying over something she did. She flashed to a man who took a screen shot of it. A few years later with the photo to blackmail her with the photo. She began to get bullied at school. After years of being abused and transfering schools she couldn't take it anymore. She posted a video to her youtube channel right before she hung herself. In the video she used note cards to tell her story.

Starting to brake

This blog is for many things. Advise, facts and stores. Each day is an update on a recent case or the death of a broken spirit. Today day is the story of Tyler.

On September 22, 2010 Tyler Clementi, 18, jumped to his death from the George Washington Bridge. The bridge was located near his school of Rutgers University where he was a freshmen. He was bullied for several months for being gay. On the day of his death about ten minutes before his death he posted to his facebook wall "Jumping off the GW bridge, Sorry". He then got in his car and drove to the bridge. He was spotted by by standers but they were to late. His body was found a day later. The people that pushed him to that were not charged.

Tyler's story is only one of the many you will read. I hope you enjoy but most of all realize that words do hurt. So be kind, be accepting and be loving.
