Have you ever looked at someone, and instantly had an opinion?
"He's fat so he must eat everything.
She's pregnent so she's a whore.
He's ugly so no one will ever love him."
But you have never talked to them. Taken the chance to really know them.
He has an eating disorder.
She was raped and is caring enough not to kill the baby.
Just because he's ugly to you does not mean he is to someone else.
You dont know. And until you take the time to open your eyes and see the world and people in a different light. You will not know and be stuck with your same loud rude oppinion.
Last year this happened to me. These guys in my class thought that just because i dont look or act the way ther wish for me to, that it was okay to pick on me. At the time I didn't really do anything about it but now I see i should have said something because they did not know me. and now they never will.
I love this! It is so true. People only look on the outside and judge someone right away. I personally think that everyone has had this done to them. Me included. In middle school, I was a super shy kid. Because I was shy people would pick on me by calling me weird and things that like that. It hurts a whole lot more than people think. Your post really does make sense to me and most likely everyone who looks at it.
